زارت نجمة “هاوس أوف ذا دراغون”، إميلي كاري، مؤخراً مركز جمعية “بلو كروس” للحيوانات الأليفة، في كيمتون هيرتفورداشيار احتفالاً بالذكرى 125 لتأسيس الجمعية. وقامت إميلي، التي لعبت دور البطولة في الجزء الأول من سلسلة “هاوس أوف ذا دراغون” بتكوين العديد من الصداقات والروابط الحميمة مع الحيوانات بما في ذلك القطط حيث قامت بإطعامها واللعب معها. وكان القط “سكويد” ودوداً جداً مع إميلي، وهو قط تم اصطحابه إلى المركز وهو صغير بعدما أنقذه أحد الأشخاص من داخل محرك شاحنة. كما قامت إيميلي بنزهة في الحقول مع اثنين من الكلاب تمت إعادة إيوائهما مؤخراً بعدما تخلى عنهما صاحبهما بسبب اعتلال صحته. وقد سمحت زيارة المركز لإميلي بالتحدث إلى العمال حول العمل الحيوي الذي يقومون به للمؤسسة الخيرية، وتوفير الرعاية للحيوانات الأليفة المريضة والجريحة والمشردة. ويساعد مركز بلو كروس الحيوانات الأليفة منذ أكثر من قرن، ويتعاون مع أربعة مستشفيات للحيوانات وخمس عيادات لرعاية الحيوانات الأليفة و11 مركزاً لإعادة الإيواء في البلاد. ووصفت الممثلة البالغة من العمر 19 عاماً زيارتها بأنها رائعة، وعبرت عن حبها الشديد للحيوانات الأليفة، وفق ما أورد موقع “ميترو” الإلكتروني.
