Violent battles continue for the third day in a row on the fronts of three governorates in eastern Yemen, starting with the Al-Marazeeq front in Al-Jawf and the "Jabal Murad" fronts in the south of Ma rib to the fronts of Hailan, Al-Mashajeh, Al-Kassarah, Al-Mukhdarah and Sarawah in the west, and reaching Wadi Dhanu in the Bani Dabyan district in Sana a governorate.
Tribal sources told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi militia suffered heavy human and material losses as a result of the intense confrontations and air strikes, and dozens of martyrs and wounded in the ranks of the army and tribesmen.
It stated that fierce battles are taking place between the two parties in the Kassara and Al-Khadra areas, noting that the Houthi militia left the bodies of 23 of its fighters, on the same front, and captured 17 others, including two leaders.
On the Serwah front, the army and tribes responded to Houthi attacks in Shaab Jamila, in the middle of the front, and repelled another attack in the Al-Mashjah mountain range, adjacent to Helan.
The sources stated that the Houthi leader, Kamal Al-Moayad, commander of the Hilan front, was killed along with a group of his fighters in an air strike by the Arab coalition fighters.
On the southern front of Ma rib, violent battles are taking place between tribesmen and the army on the one hand, and the Houthi militia in Jabal Murad and its military sites overlooking Najd Majmaah and Mahliya, without progress to any party, according to "NewsYemen" sources.
In Al-Jawf, violent battles are taking place between the two sides on the Al-Duhaidha and Al-Shallah fronts, east of Al-Hazm, the capital of the governorate, according to military sources.
