It quoted a government source as saying that "the confrontations resulted in the killing of about 20 soldiers from the government forces and the wounding of 28 others," noting that the rebels were also killed.
He added, "Government forces repelled 5 Houthi attacks from various axes, especially from the western side" in the past twenty-four hours.
The agency said, "The confrontations are more than 10 kilometers from Marib," on the western side.
